An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic Specialist Public Health Practitioner, School Nurse to join our Integrated Healthy Families Team within the Bassetlaw Locality. This will be delivered in line with the National and Local guidelines and public health priorities.

You will work as part of a team to deliver universal and targeted health services to the 0-19 year population and will be responsible for the day to day management of a defined caseload, supporting a skill mix team.

You will be expected to develop excellent partnership working relationships in order to provide seamless services to Children, Young people and their families. This dynamic role will provide leadership across Universal Children’s Services within Health Visiting and School Nursing and support organisational changes.

This post requires an experienced practitioner with sound communication skills, to support with the leadership and management of the service delivery framework. We offer a friendly, supportive working environment with excellent development opportunities.

You will need to possess the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse Degree in School Nursing.
