Maintenance Engineer - Salisbury

Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced food production environment? Do you thrive on keeping things running smoothly, reducing downtime, and working as part of a close-knit team? If so, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Carrying out preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment (grading machines, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, shaft drives, etc.)
• Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance
• Ensuring planned maintenance tasks are completed efficiently
• Keeping accurate maintenance records and ensuring contingency stock is always available
• Supporting installation and commissioning of new machinery
• Complying with food safety, health & safety, and industry regulations (HACCP, GMP, etc.)

What We're Looking For:

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience in a food manufacturing/production environment
• Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering equipment & production lines
• A team player with a positive attitude, great communication skills, and a strong work ethi:
• Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Knowledge of PLC systems, automation, and control circuits
