This South Gloucestershire school is looking for a motivated SEN specialised Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant and inclusive school community. This BS37 school is well regarded and reviewed amongst staff and Parents alike and provides a nurturing and supportive environment for all students.They are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant who is specialised in SEN to provide one-to-one support for a particular KS1 student with additional needs. This is a full-time, long-term role.
Your new role:
Your new Teaching Assistant role, within this Yate school, will be to provide tailored one-to-one support to an individual in KS1 with ASD, ensuring their individual's learning needs are met, assisting the class teacher in the creation of implementing personalised learning plans and supporting the students in developing social skills and building confidence.You will be monitoring and recording the progress of this student with your guidance and working with an extensive SEND team to ensure this student's well-being alongside academic success.
Requirements to succeed in your new role:
- Relative Teaching assistant experience within the last two years
- Two working references from your two most recent jobs that apply some relevance
- Previous experience with young SEND children is required.
- A DBS on the update service is required. This can be done through us here at Hays!
