Teaching Personnel is working with a secondary school in Gosport who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This role focuses on teaching Key Stage 3 Maths, helping students develop strong numerical skills and a passion for the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging KS3 Maths lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning.
- Implement school policies and contribute to the department’s ongoing success.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
- Engage with parents and carers to support student's academic growth.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be a qualified Maths teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent).
- Have experience teaching KS3 Maths in a secondary school setting.
- Be passionate about mathematics and committed to inspiring students.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies.
- Be proactive, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
- Have a strong understanding of the KS3 Maths curriculum and assessment methods.
- Supportive and collaborative teaching environment.
