Full job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally from a Tier 1 or Main Contractor background based on site on a 30 million pound mixed use student accommodation block.

Contract 6 Months Plus

Rate Negotiable PAYE, Umbrella , CIS

Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities:

• Full commercial administration of contracts.
• Working with Commercial Director and wider team..
• Monitoring & reviewing progress on site in line with commercials and programme.
• Agreeing monthly payment valuations.
• Agreeing instructions, change and processing variations.
• Take-off's and Remeasurement
• Attending client and project progress meetings.
• Agreeing Final Accounts.

Quantity Surveyor requirements:

• Degree or HNC/HND Quantity Surveying or construction related qualification.
• 5 -year's experience working within the construction industry.
• Sector experience within modular and new build
• Experienced in self-delivery of projects from award to final accounts.
• Able to produce quotations from drawings, price variations, do Take-Offs and remeasure.
• Well organised, diligent, self-motivated, and proactive.
• Full UK driving license.
