The Great Western Hospital are currently looking to expand their Radiology department to support the recovery and current demand within diagnostics. The Radiology department has recently undergone a £5.5 million equipment replacement programme including replacement of plain film rooms, CT, Interventional and Mobile equipment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for established Radiographers with NHS experience looking to increase their knowledge and work with state-of-the-art equipment.

The Radiology Department undertakes approximately 251,300 examinations a year ranging over a variety of modalities. The successful applicant will be a keen team player who has image quality and patient care high on their agenda with a flexible approach to working hours.The department supports the development of your clinical skills and education, we encourage staff CPD.

To independently assess and justify referrals under IR(ME)R 2000 following practitioner guidelines where appropriate. Able to interpret Clinician’s requirements, to determine the appropriate radiographic imaging technique and ensure that it is performed in accordance with best practice and that the resultant images are diagnostic.
