A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative Teacher of Art to join a brand-new school in Pontypridd, South Wales. This is a full-time position where you will inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 to 5, nurturing their creativity and artistic skills.Teaching Art is a fantastic way to foster creativity and bring out skills that aren't inhibited by Additional Learning Needs (ALN), in fact Art can be an excellent source of comfort and enjoyment for pupils with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD) as well as ALN.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality Art lessons in line with the national curriculum (WJEC specification) for KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Plan, prepare, and assess students' work, ensuring progress and engagement.
- Foster a love for creativity and self-expression in students.
- Undertake full teaching responsibilities, including classroom management, marking, reporting, and contributing to the wider school community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inspiring learning environment.
- Differentiate lessons to accommodate and appropriately challenge ALN pupils as well as MAT pupils.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience teaching Art, ideally across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- A passion for Art and a commitment to inspiring creativity in students.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are warmly encouraged to apply.

This is an agency role via Teaching Personnel, with any role, there is the opportunity to transfer onto the school's contract on a permanent basis for the right candidate.
