Contract: Permanent, 41 weeks,Term Time only, (There may be scope for this role to be a full-timecontract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, please get in touchto discuss.)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 3 days per week, 08.30am -16.30pmSalary: Up to £63,840 (FTE,DOE)
Within OFG, EducationalPsychologists work with schools to support the development oftherapeutic environments and the implementation of Trauma Informedand Neurodiversity Affirming practice. Our models ofservice delivery include consultation and reflective practice toschool and there are opportunities to contribute to service widedevelopment groups.Within OFG there is a strong network ofPractitioner Psychologists and staff have access to regularclinical supervision outside of line management.
About the Role
You will join our multi-disciplinary team of dedicatedclinical staff providing psychological assessment for pupils withinthe schools, guidance for education teams and professionaldevelopment training for all staff. The role involves communicatingwith families/ carers and specialist agencies.You'll workalongside Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists,Psychotherapists, Psychologists and AssistantPsychologists.
Location: OvertonSchool, Shropshire
There is scope for this role to cover more than one schoolin the area, to be discussed.

Who we're lookingfor?
We are looking for anEducational Psychologist with a masters or doctoral professionalqualification and HCPC registration. You'll need to be creative andpassionate about improving outcomes for pupils with complexneeds.
The ideal candidate will be resilient andhave experience of working in with people with complex SEN needs.You'll need to be a good communicator with strong skills inassessment and report writing.
KeyAccountabilities:
- Provide psychological assessment and intervention forpupils within the schools
- Offer guidance foreducation teams
- To provide supervision toagreed members of the clinical team
- Communicating with families/ carers and specialistagencies
- Engage in professional developmenttraining for all staff
- A doctoral or master's professionalqualification in Educational Psychology
- Registered with the HCPC
- Creativeand passionate about improving outcomes for pupils
- Able to work as part of a team and beself-reliant
