Payroll Administrator - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the role:
We are looking for a skilled payroll administrator to be responsible for assisting in the processing of the monthly UK and overseas payrolls.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Process the monthly UK and overseas payrolls
- Maintain payroll system by gathering, calculating and inputting data
- Answers employee’s ad hoc questions regarding pay/payslips
- Work as part of a team to ensure accurate inputs
- Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Complete payroll reports for record-keeping purposes and monthly review
- Follow payroll policies and procedures and relevant laws where applicable
- Determine organisation's tax obligations by calculating payroll taxes including National Insurance Contributions
- Reviewing payments for National Minimum Wage compliance
- Calculate manual off cycle payments
- Sending of P45s, P11Ds
- Preparing attachment payments
You will work shifts between 9am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday.
Requirements- Experience of using HRIS systems, preferably Workday
- Experience of supporting or operating a UK payroll
- Some knowledge of pension schemes
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Critical thinking
- Payroll qualification or similar experience
- Good communication skills
- Basic understanding of payroll tax procedures
- Familiar with benefits and other wage deductions
- Ability to work to deadlines
