We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive primary school in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher (NQT) who is eager to inspire and nurture the next generation of learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across Key Stage 2, ensuring the curriculum meets the needs of all students.
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and personal growth.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, creating a collaborative learning environment.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting their well-being and confidence.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Be passionate about Key Stage 2 education and committed to making a positive impact on students’ learning.
  • Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in active learning.
  • Be a collaborative team player, able to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Be proactive, creative, and enthusiastic about continuous professional development.
  • Have a good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment procedures.
  • Hold a valid DBS check (or be willing to obtain one).
