Mechanical Technician
Job Type: Contract
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Start Date: Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: £38 per hour Umbrella/£28.86 per hour PAYE
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Hybrid/Remote Working: Fully on site
Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday, 44 hours per week. Friday/Saturday/Sunday working may be required on an ad hoc voluntary basis
Role Information:- Undertake activities in line with training, best practice and company standards
- Involved in the planning and preparation of work
- Carry out work in a safe manner with the relevant SSOW, utilising company best practice
- Carry out risk assessments and safety observations
- Comply with company/customer procedures, rules and instructions
- Undertake work in line with the technical and quality requirements of SSOW
- Report any defects, damage, safety hazards and general issues to the relevant personnel
- CSCS card or CCNSG Safety Passport
- Plant installation or mechanical construction experience
- Comfortable working to SSOW
- Highly regulated industry experience
- Good knowledge of mechanical installation and/or minor civil works
UK National Security Vetting Status: BPSS clearance
