Accounts Assistant

Location: Bromsgrove (must drive due to location)

My client is seeking an experienced accounts assistant to join their finance team in Bromsgrove. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a supportive and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.

• Inputting sales and purchase orders
• Maintaining sales, purchase and nominal ledger
• Raising and resolving invoice queries
• Statement and bank reconciliation/dealing with differences
• Complete VAT return
• Various other accounts admin duties

• Previous all-around accounts experience particularly sales and purchase ledger
• Excellent communication & Organisation skills
• As well as work independently
• Accounts experience completing vat returns and doing bank reconciliations
• A high level of attention to detail needed
