Location: Burton in Kendal, Carnforth

Position Type: Self-Employed (Non-Salaried)

Are you a passionate physiotherapist looking for flexibility and a supportive environment? At Compete Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Ltd, a family-run clinic, we’re excited to welcome a friendly, motivated physio to join us on a self-employed basis.
Our clinic is located in the lovely village of Burton in Kendal, just a stone’s throw from the stunning Lake District!
A Bit About Us:
We provide specialist physiotherapy services to the South Lakes and Lancaster communities. Here’s what we offer our clients:

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy
Sports massage
Runfit assessments
Dynamic gait assessments and custom insole creation
Injection therapy
Joint injections, including Hyaluronic Acid

Our team is all about personalized care and helping clients achieve their goals in a warm, welcoming environment.
The Role:

This is a self-employed position, meaning you'll have the flexibility to work hours that suit your lifestyle, and your income will be based on a percentage of client fees. Since this isn't a salaried position, unfortunately, we can’t offer sponsorship for overseas applicants.

What We’re Looking For:

2 years of private practice MSK experience is ideal, but if you have other relevant experience, we’d still love to hear from you! We’ll just ask you to go through a skills-based interview.
Great communication skills – we want someone who can connect with clients and help them feel at ease.
A client-focused attitude – our clients' well-being is our top priority!
The ability to work well with a team, while also being comfortable working independently.
A willingness to learn from others and share your own knowledge.

Bonus Skills (but not a dealbreaker if you don’t have them!):

Experience with Shockwave Therapy
Injection therapy or other advanced techniques
Yoga or Pilates instructor certification
Experience working with private-paying clients
