The successful candidate will have the following skills and abilities:

• Ability to teach GCSE and A Level Computer Science
• Excellent Python programming skills
• Excellent command of computing skills and the ability to demonstrate these across the age and ability range
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to enthuse and motivate students
• Ability to support whole school staff IT training

The successful candidate will also have the following knowledge:

• Understanding of Computing National Curriculum
• Requirements of GCSE and A level specifications
• Appropriate teaching and learning methodologies
