Specialist Clinical Pharmacist- Surgical Admissions

The post will be predominately based at the Queens Medical Centre, but there will be the potential need to travel to the Nottingham City Hospital Campus and potentially to other trusts in the region as required. The role will be mainly Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm, but these hours are negotiable.
You will also be required to participate in a rostered weekend and bank holiday rota. In addition to this there is a requirement to support the on-call pharmacists through the senior pharmacist back-up rota. The pharmacy department at NUH is forward thinking and constantly implementing innovative ways of working to deliver the best possible patient care.
We continue to extend the ideal model of delivering medicines optimisation and pharmaceutical care where pharmacists are fully integrated into the medical teams, supported by a team of medicines management technicians and assistants. You will be joining NUH at an exciting time as we have just recently transitioned to electronic prescribing bringing new opportunities to enhance the way in which we deliver care to our patients.
