With a brand-new shop fit which will boast two fully equipped consultation rooms, a dedicated screening suite with Optos, OCT, Axial length measurement and support staff. This along with a third consultation room provides space for CL’s and Audiology services. The practice has had a significant transformation.

About the Role:

Potential for Extension: Yes

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Optical Assistant to join our team in 2025. This position will cover parental leave, with the possibility of an extension depending on the practice’s needs. As an Optical Assistant, you will play a key role in providing outstanding service to our patients, supporting our optometrists, and ensuring smooth daily operations in the practice.

This role is 37,5h per week.

Opening hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm and 9am-13pm on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting patients with frame selection, fittings, and adjustments
• Booking appointments and managing patient schedules
• Processing orders for prescription lenses and handling eyewear collections
• Educating patients about eyewear care and lens options
• Performing administrative tasks such as handling payments and insurance queries
• Ensuring the practice is clean, organized, and well-stocked
