Job Duties:
- Supervise and manage classroom activities when the regular teacher is absent
- Implement the lesson plans left by the teacher and ensure a productive learning environment
- Maintain discipline and manage student behaviour effectively
- Provide support and assistance to students in their learning activities
- Keep accurate records of student attendance and report any issues to the appropriate staff
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent
Experience:
Experience working with children or young people
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage and supervise classroom activities
- Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher education qualifications in Education or related field
- Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
