About the College
A specialist further education college and residential setting providing tailored learning and life skills development for young people aged 16-25 with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs. Their mission is to equip students with the skills, confidence, and independence they need to transition into adulthood successfully.
The Role
As a Support Worker, you will: ✅ Provide practical and emotional support to students in their education, daily activities, and personal development.
✅ Assist students in developing independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and self-care.✅ Support students in accessing education, vocational training, and community activities.
✅ Encourage social interaction, confidence-building, and positive communication.
✅ Help manage behaviour positively, using person-centred and therapeutic approaches.
✅ Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to provide holistic support.
What We’re Looking For

✨ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
✨ A willingness to learn and adapt to different student needs.
✨ Able to work shift work including evenings and weekends.
