Job Description
Key responsibilities of the Sales Account Manager include:
- Identifying new opportunities to grow the companies channel business within an existing customer account base
- Proactively follow up leads generated
- Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business
- Work closely with the marketing team to achieve agreed objectives
- Liaise effectively with all departments within the company to ensure that customer requirements are met
- Contribute to the team performance by sharing and implementing best practice ideas
- Providing quotations to clients
- Working to targets and KPIs set
The Successful Applicant
The successful Sales Account Manager will have:
- Previous experience working within a sales environment
- IT/Telecoms industry experience is highly desirable
- Excellent telephone skills
- High degree of accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload
- Must be able to deal with technical product information
- Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
