Assistant Accountant

Reed Accountancy are working exclusively with a growing investment and asset management company to recruit a bright and enthusiastic French speaking Assistant Accountant to join their small London team.

Package: Competitive (depending on experience) with comprehensive benefits package

• Day to day accounting for various group companies.
• Responsible for Accounts Payable, from processing invoices to setting up bank payments of different entities.
• Performing bank reconciliations.
• Performing reconciliations of intercompany accounts.
• Perform month-end closing of (accruals, prepayments, capitalisation, revaluations).
• Production of monthly cash flows.
• Training will be provided on the production of monthly management accounts for different entities.
• Manage Fixed asset Register.
• Quarter end accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet).
• Investigate and resolve internal or external queries.
• Support the wider finance team with any ad hoc tasks.

Systems Knowledge & Experience

Desirable: Hyperion/TM1

• Part Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA)
• Friendly, enthusiastic, willing and able to work effectively within a team.
• Good communication skills both written and oral.
• Able to work independently.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritise.
• Able to work under pressure and deliver to agreed deadlines.
• Experience of solving problems and implementing solutions.
• Proficient in both French and English
