apartmentThe Collecting Group placeLondon scheduleFull-time calendar_month

The Drive:

The Collecting Group (TCG) isn't your average company; we're a team of culture curators who live and breathe cars and watches. We're not just disrupting the auction industry, we're redefining it. Our brands, Collecting Cars and Watch Collecting, are already leading the pack, but we're just getting started.

We're seeking a dynamic SEO Manager to deliver high-impact digital product initiatives.

The Mission:

As our SEO Manager, you'll play a key role within our growth marketing team to plan and implement our SEO strategy, driving organic growth, improving search rankings and directly supporting the scaling of our two online businesses. Collaborating with Branding, Editorial, and Product & Tech, you'll build awareness and gain buy-in for SEO, leveraging data to help influence impactful decision making.

The Challenge:

  • To develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to increase organic visibility and traffic across all digital channels for both of our brands, Collecting Cars and Watch Collecting.
  • Conducting regular SEO audits and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • To collaborate with content stakeholders, ensuring all content is optimised for search engines and aligns with our target audience's search intent.
  • Feed into the content strategy to ensure that best practice SEO is at the forefront of all content that is being produced and syndicated.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
  • To leverage AI-driven tools and technologies to automate tasks, analyse datasets, and identify emerging trends for SEO to stay ahead of our competitors and react to changes in the search landscape.
  • Monitoring and reporting on SEO and business performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Manage and optimise technical SEO elements, including site speed, mobile responsiveness and crawlability.
  • Establish strong connections with the product and engineering teams to implement technical SEO recommendations.
  • Build and manage relationships with external PR agencies and partners to help devise and implement effective content outreach strategies to earn backlinks and increase brand exposure.

The Specs (What We'll Need From You):

  • You’ve got a proven track record of success in SEO, with at least 3-5 years of experience.
  • You have a strong understanding of SEO principles, including on-page and off-page optimisation, technical SEO, and content strategy.
  • You have demonstrable experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
  • You’re familiar and comfortable with operating in a KPI driven team.
  • You’re committed to collaborating, you get a kick out of sharing ideas and helping others grow.
  • If you have an interest in cars/watches or maybe both, this’ll be highly beneficial.
  • Prior experience within a marketplace is also highly beneficial.

The Pit Stop:

Parsons Green, London. You'll be predominantly based here, our London HQ. You'll need full UK working rights (sorry, we're unable to provide sponsorship for this position).

The Fuel:

  • 25 days holiday (plus an additional day each year after 2 years tenure).
  • Private medical insurance for you and your family with Vitality.
  • Annual learning and development budget.
  • Company pension contribution.
  • The opportunity to attend amazing automotive and watch events.
  • A chance to grow your career in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The Finish Line:

If you’re keen to leverage your SEO capabilities in a fast-moving, disruptive business, this is your chance to join a team that's shaping the future of the collecting community.
