The successful candidate will join our dynamic team of consultants, collaborating to develop and implement solutions that address clients' customs duty challenges.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Developing and delivering solutions: Work closely with clients to resolve their customs duty issues by designing and implementing tailored solutions.
- Managing client relationships and projects: Acting as clients' main point of contact, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Mentoring and developing junior colleagues: Providing guidance and support to less experienced team members to aid their professional development.
- Staying up to date with technical developments: Keeping informed of the latest changes and advancements in customs duty regulations and best practices.
- Contributing to innovation: Collaborate with team members to develop new ideas and solutions to enhance our customs software and consulting services.
- Data analysis and reporting: Using advanced Excel skills to analyse data, generate reports, and provide relevant insights to clients.
- Simplifying complex customs concepts: Clearly explain and communicate complicated customs regulations and solutions to clients in an understandable manner.
What We’re Looking For
We seek an energetic, collaborative individual with a relevant background and experience in customs consultancy. The successful candidate will have an inquisitive and innovative mindset, with a strong drive to identify and improve on solutions. Key attributes include:
- A strong aptitude for problem-solving and process improvement.
- Experience in developing and managing teams (an advantage).
- A solid understanding of core customs areas, with in-depth knowledge of one or more special procedures or key areas.
- The ability to work well as part of a team, fostering collaboration and contributing to collective success.
Key Skills & Experience
- Customs Duty Analysis, Duty Cost Optimization, and Duty Reclaim Preparation skills.
- Knowledge of customs compliance and regulations.
- Experience in implementing customs processes.
- Data analysis and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Customs, or a related field.
- £52,000 salary dependent on experience
- No selling

Pay: £50,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
