£30,470 - £32,419 per annum, pro rata

We are looking for an enthusiastic, conscientious and motivated team member to join the team at the Academy of Sport and Wellbeing (ASW). You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of our sports operation, leisure staff and support other activities when required.
As the Lead Leisure Assistant, you will be a vital part of the operational success of ASW, ensuring the facility is always presented to an exceptional level. You will be at the operational forefront of this high quality and vibrant sporting facility assisting in varied aspects of our service.Through direction from the Gym and Fitness Manager and General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the preparation of our facility in relation to customer bookings and support project planning within ASW.
You will also be responsible for administration of customer bookings through ASW management system, CELCAT and have full understanding of the administration of ASW hire agreements. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer experience for our partners and customers.
You will have a proactive approach to problem solving, be able to provide and implement solutions and have the ability to take ownership and effectively lead on work areas and projects.
In the course of your work, you will also be able to cover reception duties when required, supporting membership sales, climbing registrations and general cash/card transactions, cleaning duties and operational checks. This role involves working evenings and weekends.
