Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking applications to the role of Personal Assistant. This role is based in the Community Services Division and, working alongside the experienced members of that team, your role will be to provide secretarial support to our Senior Management Team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced personal assistant who is a strong team player, who is highly organised, and who has the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide range of people both within and outside the Trust. Your duties will include formal minute taking and production of formal reports and other correspondence.You will need strong IT skills to be successful in this role. Meetings/events are held across various community sites therefore some flexibility is required and a car driver would an advantage. The successful candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications/Knowledge
Essential criteria- GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualification
- RSA 3/NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration
- Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate a full range of secretarial procedures, software programmes
- Advanced qualification for MS Office Package
- ECDL
- Proficient minute taking
Experience
Essential criteria- Previous experience of working in a similar role
- Effective time management through organisation and diary management
- Experience of Microsoft Office Software
- Working to deadlines
- Previous NHS experience
Skills
Essential criteria- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
- Excellent organisational skills
- High level of confidentiality
- Ability to proritise workload
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment
- IT Skills
- Minutes taking skills
- Broad knowledge of NHS and linked agencies
