Business Analyst (Business Intelligence)

The role will involve working collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver insightful solutions that enhance decision-making processes.
This role can be undertaken on a remote basis with potential occasional travel to any of our offices across the UK.
About the role:
- Engage with business stakeholders and SME's to capture and agree reporting and analytics requirements and provide guidance to the BI Development team.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define business intelligence needs and objectives.
- Developing and documenting business requirements for BI solutions.
- Analyzing data and generating meaningful reports that support strategic decisions.
- Utilizing BI tools to visualize data and present findings to stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.
- Ensure consistent use of standard business terminology and data sources.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience as a Business Analyst with demonstrable experience delivering solutions around Business Intelligence.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data set.
- Experience in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into uses cases in ADO (with descriptions, acceptance criteria, functional and non-functional requirements).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical audiences.
- An ability to present visualisations/reports in a business context to business stakeholders.
