Situated in Bishop’s Stortford, our school enjoys an attractive, open setting near the town centre and train station, with excellent transport links to London, Cambridge, and beyond.
We are seeking to appoint, for September 2025 or sooner if available, an outstanding Teacher of Computer Science to join our motivated and supportive Technology Faculty. The successful candidate will need to be an enthusiastic, inspiring and motivating teacher who can demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and will ensure students have high aspirations and achieve their best.The role would suit an experienced teacher or an ambitious and skilled new teacher.
This position is available due to an expansion in the subject. Computing is taught to all of years 7 and 8, and it is very popular in year 9 with 7 classes being taught. At GCSE we offer IT and computer science, and at A-Level we offer computer science, BTEC IT and BTEC Esports.
The faculty is well led and the team are enthusiastic, committed and supportive. We have a strong commitment to continuous professional development and teacher work-life balance.
