Kitchen Porter
As a Kitchen Porter at Merville Barracks, Circular Road South, Colchester, You'll be one of the key catering staff, without you.. we cant run our kitchens efficiently.
What you’ll do:
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations
- Work closely with the chefs and larger catering team, to ensure the running of kitchen and dining facilities is efficient and smooth
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used correctly, and report any faults to your line manager
- Assist with deliveries, replenishing stock and its rotation
- Waste disposal in a safe, thorough, timely manner
What you bring:
- Basic food-handling knowledge
- A good sense personal and environmental safety
- Willing to learn new skills and gain experience whilst in the role
- No previous work experience required

- 5 over 7 Shifts between 06:00 and 22:30hrs - Early, Middle and Closing Shifts
