The role
Fasanara Capital is seeking a Structured Finance Origination Manager to join our Origination team. This role is ideal for an experienced structured finance professional with a strong deal-making background, capable of leading a team through the full transaction lifecycle—from sourcing to closing complex, multi-layered securitizations.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Origination to drive strategic growth, manage global originator relationships, and structure innovative private credit transactions. This is a hands-on leadership position within a dynamic, fast-moving environment—perfect for someone who thrives in deal origination and wants to shape Fasanara’s next phase of growth.
Responsibilities- Lead a small team to execute structured finance transactions from origination to closing.
- Manage global relationships with originators, lenders, and counterparties.
- Draft and negotiate LOIs, MOUs, and term sheets.
- Review and conduct financial analysis and performance modelling (asset and liability side).
- Perform due diligence on originators and lending portfolios.
- Research and evaluate global lending markets to identify opportunities.
- Support ongoing transaction monitoring and amendments.
- Drive process improvement through analytical tool and model development.
- Present investment recommendations to internal committees.
- 10+ years in financial services (bank, asset manager, private credit, or direct lender).
- 7+ years hands-on experience with structured products (ABS, CLO, MBS, securitizations).
- 3+ years managing and developing people.
- Strong credit and structured finance product knowledge.
- Proven experience running end-to-end deals.
- Advanced Excel modelling; Python proficiency a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- English fluency essential (German/Dutch a plus).
