Job Duties:
- Deliver English and Maths GCSE intervention sessions to students
- Provide tailored support to improve students' understanding and performance in the subjects
- Create engaging and effective lesson plans
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate with students, parents, and school staff to provide feedback on student progress
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Specialist knowledge in English and Maths at GCSE level
- Experience in delivering intervention sessions to students
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Previous experience working as a tutor or teacher in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum in English and Maths
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisational skills and ability to plan effectively
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will be required to work closely with students, parents, and school staff to deliver effective intervention sessions.
