This post is full time (35 hours p/w) and open ended with funding up until 31/03/2026.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Nurse to join our stroke trials team and contribute to the broad spectrum of research studies led by Professor Keith Muir, Professor of Professor of Clinical Imaging & Consultant Neurologist University of Glasgow, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
As Stroke Research Nurse you will be required to co-ordinate and conduct studies within the stroke portfolio of studies. Additionally, you will be responsible for the promotion of research projects to the wider stroke community with the aim of improving participant recruitment to ongoing and future studies.
You must be a Registered Nurse with relevant experience that demonstrates the appropriate skills for the role. You will have a proven track record in the planning, coordination and conduct of clinical trials along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work to high standards across a variety of tasks with vigilant regard to scientific and regulatory requirements.
Experience of working with patients who have cerebrovascular disease and / or in acute and emergency care settings is desirable; training will be provided.
