I am a 16 year old young man with autism and learning disabilities. I live with my family and am very happy and energetic. I love to be outside, especially walks in the countryside and forest.When Im at home, I like to be in my garden, creating artwork, playing on my ipad and watching my favourite movies.
I especially love all things baking and cooking!I would like someone to support me at home and on trips out whilst my family have a break from caring. The role would be helping me with all areas of my personal care and helping me to access my activities in a safe and fun way.
The role is 4-8 hours per month, to be worked flexibly outside of school hours. For example, this could be over the weekends and school holidays. I would like to be supported by somebody who is very caring and understanding, who has experience of working with people with autism and learning disabilities.
It would be great to be supported by someone with a happy and outgoing personality, who could get to know me and my family well and become a part of our little family team.As this role is very part-time, it would suit someone who would like a small amount of hours, or someone who is already employed part-time with other clients.
