Agency statement: We are currently resourcing this role through our internal Talent Acquisition Team so we do not require agency support at this time. We will utilise our supplier partners on our PSL only when we need to.
Working pattern: Hybrid but you will need to flexible depending on team tasks and resources. Weetabix Wednesday is a non-negotiable where we all come into the office for business partnering and meetings.

Join Weetabix as a Procurement Manager and play a vital role in our Procurement team, where we focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management to enhance our supply chain operations. This is not just a job; it's an opportunity to shape procurement strategies and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
As a Weetabix Procurement Manager you will:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs across allocated categories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specifications and business needs.
- Identify, negotiate, and onboard new suppliers while managing existing supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement best practice procurement processes, focusing on sustainability and innovation.
- Analyse market trends to make informed sourcing decisions and take appropriate risk mitigation actions.
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance with agreed terms, continuously seeking improvement opportunities.
- Utilise procurement technology for sourcing and spend management while providing insights through key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience in procurement with a proven results in strategic sourcing and category management
- Analytical skills to assess market trends and drive decision-making
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner across teams and negotiate effectively and manage supplier relationships
- A 'project management' approach with a growth mindset for continuous improvement
- A forward-thinking approach to anticipate and plan for change
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Alignment to Weetabix values
- Are always curious to finding new ways to do business!
- Have the ability to demonstrate how you keep up to date in your field of expertise
