We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Panel Beater / Bodyshop Technician who has MIG, Spot Welding and Brazing experience.

Working as a Panel Beater / Bodyshop Technician you will join a team of over 60 people and a company that pride themselves on having excellent staff attraction and retention.

As the Panel Beater / Bodyshop Technician you will be a dedicated professional with expertise in vehicle body repair and restoration, including proficiency in MIG Welding, Spot Welding, and Brazing.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Panel Beater / Bodyshop Technician include:

• Work with the senior VDA and Workshop Controller to produce top quality repairs across a broad variety of vehicles
• Perform precise and efficient panel beating and body repairs on a range of vehicles
• Use MIG and Spot Welding techniques to achieve top-quality repairs
• Apply Brazing skills to ensure durability and longevity of repairs
• Conduct bracket jig repairs and chassis alignment, restoring vehicles to their original specifications
• Collaborate with the team to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Accurately document repair processes and outcomes for record-keeping and client updates
• Maintain the high standards expected in a quality assured working environment

• Previous experience in a quality working environment
• Fully experienced in MIG, Spot Welding and Brazing
• Experience of Bracket Jig Repairs and Chassis Alignment work
• Experience of LCV and Luton size Vehicles
• Communicative and Friendly
• Be comfortable with Large “Repair over Replace” operations
