Company Secretarial Assistant Manager

We are looking for a Company Secretarial Assistant Manager to join a highly regarded professional services firm. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity for a governance professional to take on a diverse range of company secretarial responsibilities, from routine compliance to complex corporate transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Portfolio Management:

  • Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely delivery of annual compliance services
  • Support event-driven transactions such as share buybacks and capital reductions

Advisory & Governance Support:

  • Provide expert guidance on company law and corporate governance to both clients and internal teams

Team Development & Training:

  • Contribute to the development of team policies, standards and best practices
  • Draft legal documents, create precedents and develop training materials for the department

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Work closely with tax, audit and corporate finance teams on multidisciplinary projects

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a company secretarial role within a professional services or legal environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK company law, particularly corporate transactions and statutory compliance

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

  • CGI/ICSA qualification (or equivalent experience) is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Diligent Entities is a strong advantage

Hybrid working:

  • 2–3 days in the office per week
