To upskill and support social staff by providing specialist mental health consultation, training, advice, support, and liaison to staff working with children, young people and their parents/carers. To be link between CAMHS and social care services, providing referral information, support and guidance and signposting to appropriate services.
To explore and help facilitate access to community CAMHS where access issues are difficult. To assess and formulate the mental health, emotional and psychological needs of children and young people who are involved with South Gloucestershire Social Care Provide an outreach model and systemic approach to help engage and provide intervention to children, young people and their families.

To include, attending multi-agency meetings. Provide mental health consultation and reflective sessions to Social Care practitioners Provide mental health training to Social Care staff
