Job Description

Key duties for the Part Time Qualified Accountant ole are as follows:

• Manage financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
• There will be a large focus on VAT moving forward with this role
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
• Assist with the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Part Time School Accountant should have:

• Fully obtained an accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• MUST HAVE Schools experience
• Be on site 3 days a week
• VAT experience
• Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information.

• A competitive salary between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum, pro-rata.
• Working 3 days a week (on site for those 3 days)
