Emergency Orthopaedic Unit Senior Health Care Assistant

36 Hours per week

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for individuals to join the team within the Surgical, Women's and Children's Division as a Clinical Support Worker. Under the direction of the Sister/Charge Nurse you will help us to ensure that we provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment for our patients.
You will need to possess good communication and interpersonal skills. A polite and courteous manner towards patients and relatives will be essential for this role, together with your ability to work under pressure, as part of a team as well as organising your own workload.

JOB SUMMARY:

The post holder will work under the direct supervision of a registered health care professional and be responsible for providing personal care for patients and a range of clinical duties/ tasks, always ensuring that actions are undertaken by the individual following appropriate training and within their sphere of competence.
