Job overview
As an Administrator in a Multi-disciplinary team, you will work with other administrators and health and social care professionals. You will develop the ethos of multi-disciplinary, integrated care and seamless services ensuring that patient care is delivered to highest possible standard.
As an Administrator working under the general direction of the Senior Hub Coordinator you will undertake a range of administrative duties. You will develop and maintain administrative systems and records to enable the team to deliver effective community services and to ensure that the office environment is safe, appropriately maintained and equipped.
You will be required to participate in a rota to provide cover between 08:00 and 19.00 Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 at Weekends and Bank Holidays.
Main duties of the job
Applicants must be able to multi-task and be able to work as part of a team and on their own. They must be professional at all times and be able to stay calm in stressful situations and be able to resolve any problems. There are times when they may work alone and will need to make decisions themselves taking appropriate action.
You will be supported by a Senior Administrator and be expected to:-- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to prioritise work and able to work to clear deadlines
- Be flexible to meet the needs of the service
- Work weekends/Bank Holidays on a rota basis

Standard DBS check £21.50, Enhanced DBS check £49.50 + any admin costs.

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria- QCF level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification in rehabilitation.
- Prepared to undertake QCF level 3 in Health, Social, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Support within 3 years of appointment.
- Evidence of ongoing training and personal development.
- Care Certificate or the willingness and ability to undertake the course. (This is applicable for all non-registered support workers that provide health care).
- QCF level 3 in Health, Social, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Support, or equivalent.
- Additional training in rehabilitation or caring for the older person.
Experience
Essential criteria- Working in a health/social care related post, or worked in a voluntary or informal caring capacity with adults.
- Ability to work with a wide range of people.
- Evidence of working within rehabilitation.
- Experience of working within a community setting.
- Experience of lone working.
- Previous experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
Knowledge
Essential criteria- Knowledge and understanding of how an Integretated Care Community functions.
- Basic understanding of the Rehabiltation Assistant’s role.
- Knowledge and understanding of the importance of rehabilitation and the promotion of independence.
- An understanding of how to support, with empathy and encouragement, individuals who may be unwell or have reduced functional capabilities.
- Self- awareness and appreciation of own limitations.
- Knowledge of personal care, function and mobility, nutrition, privacy and dignity.
- Understanding of reflective practice and its application.
- Knowledge of moving and handling policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of aids and equipment used to promote independence.
- Knowledge of the importance of risk assessment.
