About the Role:We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a local school in Ystrad Mynach, a specialist school for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will work closely with teachers and therapists to support students in their learning, personal development, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN.
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities.
- Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with personal care and social skills where required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- No formal qualifications required; however, experience in a similar role or working with children is preferred.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.
