Teacher of Maths

• Daily Rate: £180 - £220

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Maths for a full-time, temporary position at a sixth form college in Bristol. This role involves teaching A-Level and GCSE Maths.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to A-Level and GCSE students.
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that meet curriculum goals.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience in teaching Maths at A-Level and GCSE levels.
• Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate students and manage differing ability levels.
