Description

The CRC Residential Care Night Support Worker (Grade 3) plays a vital role within the residential care facility, providing essential overnight support to residents with diverse needs. This position requires a compassionate and proactive individual committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents during night hours.
As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, creating a supportive environment where they feel valued and cared for. You will engage with residents, assisting them with any needs that may arise during the night while maintaining a calm and secure atmosphere.
This role requires strong observational skills to monitor residents’ well-being and identify any changes in their condition that may require additional attention. Your involvement will also include documenting daily activities and any incidents that occur during your shift, ensuring that all information is accurately communicated to the daytime team.

Responsibilities
Provide compassionate and respectful overnight support to residents in the care facility.
Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of residents throughout the night.
Assist residents with personal care needs, including toileting, medication administration, and support with daily routines.
Document any incidents, changes in residents' conditions, and any other relevant information in accordance with policies.
Respond promptly to residents' needs and emergencies as they arise during the night.
Maintain a clean and organized living environment for the residents, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Collaborate with team members to report any concerns and support care plans during night shifts.

Requirements
Previous experience in a residential care or similar support role preferred.
Strong understanding of caregiving principles and the ability to assist those with special needs.
Great communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and team members.
Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations, demonstrating problem-solving skills.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to support and care for others.
Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Understanding of health and safety regulations in a care environment.

Hours Per Week: 37.50

Start Time: 08:00; 14:00
End Time: 20:00; 20:00
Pay Per Hour: £12.45
