SEN Tutor
TP Tutors are recruiting SEN Tutors in the Nottingham area (NG16).
Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
- Implement a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate regularly other professionals involved in the students' education
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of different learning needs and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
- Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
