Sellick Partnership are excited to be working with a Trade Union organisation who are seeking a Qualified Regulatory and Employment Lawyer to join the team.
This is an interim role offered on an initial 3 - 4 month basis, however there is likelihood that this will be extended dependent on permanent recruitment. There is flexibility around the working arrangements, the successful applicant would ideally work occasionally from their London-based office, however they can consider fully remote options.
The salary on offer is £63,500 per annum, this will be paid as an hourly rate. Annual leave entitlement is 39 days plus bank holidays.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Undertaking conduct of claims and litigation relating to the regulation of professionals
- Preparing for, and conducting advocacy in, Employment Tribunals when appropriate
- Providing legal advice to internal clients within the Union
The successful applicant will be a Qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx) and will have previous experience in handling a caseload of regulatory matters, including fitness to practise (FtP). It is desirable that the applicant will also have some experience with employment law, however training can be provided for the right person.
