Lycon Recruitment is currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated support workers to join our client's team and provide high-quality care to their residents. Below are the specific roles available:

1:1 Support Worker for Male Resident in the Annexe:

  • Requirements: Ideally male with clear English speaking skills.
  • Description: Providing one-on-one support to a male resident with autism and psychosis. The ideal candidate will have patience and understanding to prevent agitation and ensure effective communication.

1:1 Support Worker for Male Resident in the House:

  • Requirements: Male or female support.
  • Description: Supporting a non-verbal male resident who is lively and inquisitive. Positive interaction and constant supervision are essential to ensure his well-being and engagement.

General Support Worker:

  • Description: Providing general support around the house to residents with varying needs, including those with visual impairments. Flexibility and sensitivity to individual preferences are key.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Ability to provide compassionate and person-centered care.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Meds trained staff preferred for certain roles.
  • PC experience required for some roles.
