Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday- Friday (Part time 4 days per week 30 hrs considered)
Salary: Grade 6 £22,308-£23,313 FTE, Pro rata to 4 days (5% employer pension contribution, Medicash and group life assurance, 27 days annual leave per annum for FTE plus bank holidays)
Location: Remote. We have offices in both Manchester and Liverpool consequently you will need to be able to travel to both locations as required, both offices are within easy walking distance of Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Piccadilly stations.
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Executive and across the charity to ensure the smooth operation of the organisation.This role requires proficiency in various software applications, excellent communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach to support us as we enter into an exciting period of growth.
Key Objectives
Working closely with the Senior Executive and the Senior Administration Officer (SAO) this person will:
Support the administration requirements of the Senior Executive team.Organise and maintain files, records, and documentation across the charity.
Schedule appointments and meetings, and prepare necessary materials.Assist with data entry and maintain databases.
Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries as required.
Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.
Support team members with various projects and tasks.
Support the SAO with maintaining office supplies and inventory.
Support teams with the planning and coordination of various events.
Assist the HR team with the Recruitment & Onboarding process for new employees when required.
Deputise for the SAO.

Person Specification
Experience required
At least 2 years experience in an administrative role.
Experience of arranging meetings, managing calendars, supporting the tracking of organisational progress and arranging travel for senior staff.
Experience of organising and maintaining files across multiple departments.Skills
Strong organisational, prioritisation, and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent ICT skills, confident with using new pieces of software/online tools for daily administration and project work. Previous use of google suite is preferred but training will be given.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Confidentiality, discretion and sensitivity whilst carrying out all aspects of the role.
Flexible attitude and be willing to undertake a variety of tasks.
Qualifications and knowledge
Understanding and/or lived experience of the issues facing the communities affected by deprivation (desirable)
