Position: Part-Time Temporary IT Technician

About the Role:
Chorley is seeking a reliable and proactive IT Technician to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with experience in supporting IT systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with technology needs in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for the school's IT systems, including desktops, laptops, and other devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the school’s network infrastructure.
- Support staff and students with IT-related queries.
- Ensure the security and functionality of IT equipment and software.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of classroom technology.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an IT support role, preferably in a school environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, and network systems.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff and students.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
