Global Best Practices Lead, Project Management Office, Global Central RME
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of complex engineering projects by providing strategic oversight, coordination, and leadership.
The Global Best Practices Lead will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, elevate quality standards, and pioneer innovative approaches to project management on a global scale.
Key job responsibilities- Develop and implement program management strategies to achieve project objectives, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Coordinate a team of Project Managers and Engineers, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure successful project execution.
- Establish and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and goals, and ensure alignment with the organizations objectives.
- Monitor project performance and take corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple projects, and provide timely solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by optimizing project management processes and procedures.
- Manage customer and stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in Engineering to drive innovation and excellence.
- Position includes international travel up to 25%
About the team
The Global RME Project Management Office (PMO) team provides a customer-facing centralized project management solution for continuous improvements, best practices, technical service bulletins, permanent corrective actions and reliability improvement actions which requires RME resources.Our goal is to provide a stage-gate project process from intake, scoping, execution, post-go live support, completion tracking and reporting.- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining and executing program requirements
- Experience with Automated technology for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Robotics.- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Experience leading process improvements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and MS Project) at an advanced level
- Knowledge of Asana Project Management Platform
- PMP Certification
- Experience manipulating and analyzing data
