Part-time Teaching Assistant (SEN)
- Contract: Temporary until 23rd July 2025
- Salary: Grade 4 – 5 NJC.
- £7,498 per annum (£24,790
- £27,269 per annum Full Time Equivalent)
- Hours: Part time 12 hours per week (8.45am – 3.15pm with 30 minutes lunch), term time only (FTE 38 weeks per year)
- Working days: Thursday and Friday
- Location: Worth Primary School - Birch Road, Poynton, Cheshire, SK12 1QA
- Start Date: ASAP subject to DBS, references and all necessary checks

The Headteacher and Trustees of Worth Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated part-time Primary/EYFS Teaching Assistant who has high expectations for all pupils to join our hardworking and friendly team.
The position will comprise of 1:1 or small group working with children in the Reception Class (EYFS) who require support regulating their emotions as well as accessing their education in and out of the classroom. Candidates must be flexible, able to use their initiative and possess a good sense of humour for working with young children.Our goal is for every child to reach their potential so we are seeking someone special who will strive to help children to reach their goals regardless of their barriers to learning.
Previous experience of working in a primary school/EYFS setting would be an advantage.
