Pay: £20-£30 per hour
Hours: Flexible, 2-3 hours per day
Contract: Temporary, with potential for future opportunities
We are seeking an experienced Offsite Tutor to work with a local school, delivering one-to-one tuition in English and Maths for pupils aged 7-11. Many of the students exhibit challenging behaviours and may experience social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
Role Overview:
- Tutoring: Provide tailored one-to-one tuition in English and Maths, following lesson plans and adapting resources to suit each pupil’s needs.
- Student Support: Help build students’ confidence, develop their skills, and support their academic progress.
- Relationship Building: Establish positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and create a supportive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience tutoring English and Maths at primary school level.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with students and adapt lessons to their individual learning needs.
- A proactive approach to planning and modifying resources independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students in a one-to-one setting.
