We are seeking to recruit experienced, competent, and motivated Senior Healthcare Assistant to work as part of our multi-disciplinary inpatient teams. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for any healthcare professional with an interest in this field.
The successful candidate will contribute to the implementation and delivery of high-quality patient care within a professional team.
If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

Main duties of the job- Undertake agreed activities as delegated by a registered nurse, with patients / service users under the direct / indirect supervision of the qualified staff.
- Contributes to the assessment, implementation and delivery of individualised evidence-based care.
- To maintain accurate records electronically through Systmone and report any changes that are identified and report all actions to nurse in charge/named nurse/care co-ordinator.
- The post holder is required to take personal responsibility to incorporate the 6 C vision of care into their care delivery.
- Contribute to clinical discussions and provide feedback of current patient’s status and presentation to appropriate members of the multi-disciplinary team in order to inform treatment planning.
- Develop a rapport with patients and carers/family members and encourage them to participate in the rehabilitation/ healthcare programmes and activities available.

Qualifications
Essential criteria- English and Maths GCSE grade C/level 4 or above or functional skills levels 2
- NVQ 2 in related subject
- NVQ level 3 in related subject or willingness to undertake a relevant Level 3 Apprenticeship
